From my #wildwood run today in #pdx. Pouring rain, but the mist and colors made it worth it.

Then I saw the movie with my family. To see my city and my trails brought to life by a local studio and an author from a band I love, sitting beside the two kids I once read the book to, I was overwhelmed.

A narrow forest trail carpeted with wet orange and brown autumn leaves curves into the distance. Tall, moss-covered trees and dense green ferns line the path, while branches with golden-brown leaves hang overhead. Heavy rain creates a pale gray haze among the trees, partially obscuring the forest beyond. A lone person runs far down the trail, small against the surrounding woodland.
