There isn’t much snow yet up on Mount Hood in #Oregon, but wow it was such a beautiful day to be up there. The sea of clouds off in the distance really make you feel like you’re above it all. Mount Jefferson shows up in the distance of the second shot.

A steel ski-lift structure curves diagonally down a snowy ridgeline from the upper right toward the center of the image, with dark metal beams, platforms, cables, and small antennas silhouetted against the sky. The snow-covered slope beneath the structure shows tracks and wind-sculpted texture. Below the ridge, a vast blanket of white clouds fills the valleys, with dark forested hills protruding like islands. The sky above is a smooth gradient of clear blue. The composition emphasizes the contrast between rigid industrial geometry and the soft, expansive cloud layer below.A snowy ski run slopes gently downhill between tall evergreen trees on both sides. Several small skiers are spaced across the slope, moving downhill, their long shadows stretching across the textured snow. Beyond the run, dark forested ridges step away into the distance, partially submerged in a thick blanket of white clouds that fills the valleys like a calm ocean. Rising above the cloud layer in the center of the horizon is a single sharp, snow-covered mountain peak under a clear blue sky. The scene is bright, crisp, and expansive, with strong depth from foreground snow to distant mountain.
